Why don’t you show all of certain grower’s farming operation details in a single record in FarmFocus?

Within Grower Profile there is a section for Related Growers.  When a relationship between operations can be identified (common address, phone number, subsidy payment splits, common land and business hierarchy) then we will provide the relationship within the related grower tab.

Can you flag for organic farmers in FarmFocus or FieldVision? What determines if a farmer is organic and how is the data collected?

Yes. In FarmFocus we can flag organic growers who are also traditional crop growers. FarmMarket data accesses government provided data of Certified Organic Growers. The file is updated annually. However, we cannot determine which specific crop is organic, only if the farmer has been certified as being an organic grower.
